Abstract
This film is Danny Schechter's examination of what he saw as the patriotic correctness and bias of the media coverage of the 2003 war in Iraq. In the post-September 11, 2001 era, despite the legion of journalists and media stations covering the action, Schecter felt that "we had moved into a post-journalism era where packaging and 'militainment' under government influence prevailed, and that in fact very few voices could actually be heard. He suggests that there was a credible comparison between the U.S. media in Iraq, organised and directed by powerful interests in the States, and a state run media system.
