A Harper has always lived at Harper House, the centuries-old mansion outside of Memphis. Now, Stella Rothchild, a widow with two young boys, has moved back to her roots and into her new role as manager of the nursery at Harper House. As she settles in, establishes a relationship with the house's mistress, and begins a budding romance with handsome landscaper Logan Kitridge, the ghostly Harper Bride who walks the halls at night singing lullabies is not happy at the developments and will do anything to destroy the passion between Logan and Stella.
