Summary

This text provides an introduction to office practices and is written for those entering the office environment for the first time. This edition has been revised and updated in line with recent criteria for the S/NVQ Level 1 and 2 administration courses. New units on work planning, travel arrangements and organizing meetings and other events have been included. Each unit contains a progress check which includes both multiple choice and short answer questions, the answers to which are given at the back of the book. These are designed to help the student to ascertain their level of knowledge and comprehension of the topics covered. Advice is also given on tackling simulated assignments.
