Riads and villas, mosaics and textiles, mountain and desert, old and new, Morocco is a country of myriad influences and intriguing contradictions. Mark Luscombe-Whyte and Dominic Bradbury have travelled Morocco, from coastal Tangier in the north, to Fez, Casablanca and Marrakech, through the Atlas mountains and the edge of the Sahara, exploring kasbahs and townhouses, palaces and mud huts, carpentry and pottery as well as the work of contemporary architects and designers.
