Environmental Geography combines traditional physical geography with a consideration of human-related environmental issues. This unique text provides more attention to physical processes and systems than your standard environmental science text and frequently uses maps to convey the information. The text draws on traditional themes of geography. Many of these themes include the concept of an integrated planet, principles of space, scale and distributions, the idea of landscape as a human-environmental interplay, and the perspective of earth as a dynamic planet where the geographic approach enables us to see the opportunities, constraints and risks in the environment.
