One of the riders at White Horse Stables, Vanessa, has a new puppy. She invites Leah and Amy to visit her house, but when they see the puppy, it's clear something is amiss. The poor pup is really sick - and he's getting worse. It turns out Vanessa's parents didn't get the puppy from a qualified breeder, and the girls realize that a rogue operator could be about.
