Summary

Textbook for senior secondary school students presenting a factual basis for the study of the relationship between people and the natural environment. Divided into six sections which are an introduction to the field, natural systems, humans in the system, the global effect of modern humans, the Australian environment, and environment and society. Each section begins with an introduction and a guide to the major concepts covered. Throughout the text in the margins are review questions and/or questions for reflection. A brief summary is provided at the end and followed by more detailed questions.
