Abstract:
This program looks at what is involved in undertaking research for a topic. It uses a dramatised scenario where a senior secondary level boy sets about planning and conducting a research project. It covers five sections: deciding on a topic, breaking down the elephant (narrowing down a broad topic), collecting data, analysing data, and writing a report. An underlying theme is the importance of brainstorming and using your own network - getting ideas and help from people around you in the process.
