Abstract:
The book of case studies is designed to be used in conjunction with its companion text -World Wide Destination: The geography of Travel and Tourism. However, the book can be used as a stand-alone resource for the teaching and learning of tourism destinations across the world.

This is the second edition of the casebook and has been considerabley expanded as a learning resource for students and teachers. We have attempted to achieve a balance of case studies not only across each world region, but also across the key themes of travel and tourism geography including markets, resources and industry sectors. We have also upadated the book to take account of emerging issues such as climate change. -- Preface.
